Morocco is a country at Africa. It is located at the northern part of the continent and even close to the Western Sahara in its southern part. When I am thinking about the African country, I am wondering around about how can it be possible for a surf camp in Morocco? Seriously, it is nearby the Sahara desert and a surf activity? That must be a joke, right?

That were my thoughts take me before. Up until I opened Google Maps and finds out that the Morocco’s country itself seems to be the coastal country on the north and I think that it is make sense if there will be a surf camp Morocco as a place for everyone can spend their vacation.

For those who have not been known about what the surf camp is, I am telling you that it is a travel package in a course form where you will be taught about how to surf professionally with the help of an experienced surf instructor in Morocco. Mostly, the package itself will also be included with an accommodation that is close to the beach where the “class” will mostly started.

So, why choosing a surf camp in Morocco among the other countries?

If everybody is unique and special in their own way, so does the country especially the surf camp in Morocco. Different place offering different thing. Even a different surf spot must creates different experiences for the surfers.

But if that reason is too general for you, I’d like to get it started why you will need to be in Morocco one day and experience the surf camp activities that have been waiting for you. Here are the lists:

1. A surf spot in Morocco where lagoon, ocean and desert is meet each other

Those 3 places are unique and they seem not to be meet each other. But that’s where a surf camp in Morocco is unique because of its surf point. There is a place called Dakhla and there you will experience what I am talking about now.

Surf camp in Dakhla - Morocco where ocean, desert and lagoon meet

The surf spot itself can be the rarest spot in the world realising that there are no many countries with deserts and there aren’t many of them are the coastal country.

The interesting thing about this location is, it is truly a great news for the beginner surfers because they can also experience the same. You can even find a surf camp in Morocco that is located in Dakhla to get more closer to it.

2. More things to explore than surfing

A surf camp in Morocco is mainly for those with the special tourism interest. Even though it is one of the best travel idea you can experience that can acknowledge yourself while transferring the surfing skills, there are still more things you can do and explore in the surroundings.

Morocco can also be an open gate to the Arabian culture even though it is not an Arabian country. I mean, as a country where you can experience the tides in a surf camp, it is also has the donkeys and camels. And I think that the desert life won’t also be far different.

You can even see the sunrise and sunset while you are relaxing on the desert if you want. So does the sight-seeing trip to watch the ocean over the warm desert, jet-skiing if you want, quad-biking, horse-riding, trekking through the hills and desert’s sands etc.

3. Surf-holiday in a deserted country is always tempting

Country with deserts will mostly associated with the warm or hot weather and sunny days. And how can’t it be an interesting thing if there will be a surf camp in Morocco where water is always the refreshing thing we all can enjoy?

Hot sunny days meet the surf camp activities at the beach in Morocco will surely tempting for many of us and can be the perfect match for many of travellers in the world where the 2 opposite things can be experienced in one place and moment.
