The disadvantages of travel you need to know

People spend their free time doing what they like and one of them is by travelling. It is one of the most exciting thing to do because you get to visit new place and escape from your hectic life temporarily even if it is for a few days. You will also get to meet new people and improve your social ability. Besides, you will get to learn valuable things in the place you visit such as knowing more about the cultures. However, there are also people who argue that travelling can give disadvantages such as:

Travelling can be costly – It is true that there is no such thing as free travel unless you are treated by a friend or won a holiday package. No matter how close your destination is, travel needs budget because it has its own expense. You need accommodation, transport, and foods to get through the journey. For those who earn high salary in their bank account, budget might not be a concern. However, this can be one of the challenges for those who care about how much they spend for the travel. This disadvantage can be minimized by planning your budget thoroughly.

Extreme fatigue – This is the effect of travel most people experience during and after. It is common that travelers plan a tight schedule for their trip, forgetting that their body has its limit. This can lead to extreme fatigue as well as stress. As the result, travelers don’t really enjoy the trip. This disadvantage is often suffered by those who take rush travel with lack of preparation as well. Thus, travel should be planned ahead especially when your destination requires a long haul flight.

Catching diseases – It is also common for travelers to get sick during or after travel. It is highly possible to catch illness especially when you visit underdeveloped countries. You might also experience mild sickness such as cold, sore throat, stomachache, or migraine. There are various factors that can lead you to sickness such as unhygienic water you drink in the place you visit, consuming something you are not used to, virus, etc. This can be prevented by checking up your health before your trip. If necessary, take a shot of vaccine required to visit particular country.

Traveling has its own advantage and disadvantage. Generally, it is good for your health physically and mentally. However, it is highly recommended to take cautions to avoid the disadvantages you might experience.
