Give yourself time to transition smoothly. Do not force yourself to forget about the memories of the trip you had. Do something you love the most. If you are into reading then do it while relaxing. If you are into physical activities then you can go trekking, hiking, or biking around your town. That travel spirit will help ease your transition period. 

Learn new language you have never known before. This can lift up your spirit and passion to try out new thing. You can learn a language of a country you have visited or you want to visit. You will be more excited to learn especially if you have goal in mind such as a travel plan to the country you want to visit next year. 

To keep your travel spirit alive, arrange your travel mementos in a way you love. You can use your spare room as a mini exhibition of all memories you have from your trip. Whenever you missed being somewhere, you can go to the room and see what you can recall by looking at the photos or other mementos you put in there. 

Cook special dish you know from the country you have visited. This can make you feel happy because it is like you are recalling our experience and telling the story at the same time to your friends or family. You can look up for the recipe online. If you visited Thailand before, you can make some pad Thais. If you visited Indonesia, you can make fried rice with special herbs and spices. 

You can also connect with other travelers to keep your travel spirit up at home. You can read blogs or watch videos then give them creators some feedback based on your own experience. See you will share stories with them and even make friends for life.
