Isolate yourself from anything work-related

It is understandable that you feel like lost in the first day of your break. Your hands itches to check some emails or follow up phone calls, etc. However, you won’t truly get to enjoy the break if that’s the case. Thus, try isolating yourself from work. Besides, you only need to do for few days. If you cannot truly isolate yourself from work, try to set a proper work diet. For example, you only check emails for an hour in the morning and evening only. You also limit yourself to follow up urgent matters. Thus, you still spend your majority of time to enjoy your break.

Do something memorable

It is even better if it’s is something healthy, fun, and silly. Going on vacation to the place you have never been before can be good idea because you have certain type of anticipation that can lift up your mood and energy. Indulge yourself to activities you really want to try. For example, you can try extreme activities such as bungee jumping, sky diving, paragliding, kayaking, and many more. Those physical, fun activities can make your body healthier and yourself happier.
